An independent for the
6th Congressional District of Minnesota
Our nation is at a precipice, being led there by two political parties whose differences have become superficial. The outcome is larger federal government, financial crisis, war, and loss of our liberties. Their only considerations for the Constitution are the claims of how the other party is not adhering to it.
It is about time we say, "Enough."
This is why I have made the decision to run for Congress.
The Constitution delegates and limits the power of the Federal government. There must be a return to those limits if we are to truly be a free and prosperous nation.
As your representative, my votes will only consider two things: the People of the sixth district of Minnesota and the Constitution of the United States.
Getting on the Ballot
Minnesota Statute requires that anyone not running as a major party candidate (Republican, Democrat-Farm-Labor, and Independence) file by Nominating Petition to have their name placed on the General Election Ballot.
For the U.S. House of Representatives, 1,000 signatures from eligible voters in the 6th district of Minnesota are required. The petition may also be used in place of the filing fee.
The signatures must be collected between the filing period of July 6, 2010 through 5:00 p.m. July 20, 2010.
